The spirit of ScrewYou comes from lifelong activists like Joan Andrews, who in the 1980s put her freedom on the line to protest what she saw as grave injustices. Her courage, persistence, and refusal to be silenced taught us that when traditional systems fail, people must organize, protest, and speak truth to power.
